Bennet Kelley
Founder
Bennet founded the Internet Law Center in 2007 after working in-house with technology, e-commerce, and internet advertising companies such as ETM Entertainment Network, Network Commerce and ValueClick for nearly a decade. He has been named as among the nation's top internet lawyers by several publications including the Los Angeles Business Journal which named him one of the Most Influential Lawyers in Digital Media and E-Commerce. He frequently appears or is quoted in television, radio and print stories on internet legal developments, including appearing on The Today Show.
Bennet is a past Co-Chair of the California Lawyers' Association's Cyberspace Committee where he led the effort to develop a primer on cyberspace law for state policymakers. He also led the Technology, Internet, and Privacy subcommittee of CLA's Intellectual Property Section from 2016-2019.
Bennet is a frequent presenter at conferences worldwide and has been a contributor to the Journal of Internet Law and E-Commerce Law and Policy. He also is the publisher of the firm's newsletter and blog, Cyber Report, which was named top newsletter/blog by the Los Angeles Press Club in 2011 and 2020.
In 2019, Bennet was one of a handful of lawyers, academics, prosecutors, law enforcement and judicial personnel invited to work with the Department of Justice on addressing ways to combat technologically enabled harassment.
In 2012, he was selected by the U.S. Department of Commerce to be part of the U.S. delegation and present on e-commerce law at the 17th U.S.-China Legal Exchange. The prior year he was part of a delegation of a dozen North American internet experts who met with leading Chinese netizens to promote greater freedom within China.
Bennet also was the creator and host of Cyber Law and Business Report which aired on WebmasterRadio.fm from 2011-2019 and was nominated for a Los Angeles Press Club award.
Bennet began his career in 1990 with Howrey & Simon in Washington, D.C. and Los Angeles where his practice focused on complex litigation, antitrust and intellectual property matters.

Dawn has a background in contracts, mediation, and entertainment projects. She has worked as a contracts administrator entities as diverse as the City of Atlanta and online advertising giant ValueClick. Dawn also is a writer and television producer.

Raun Burnham

Raun joined the Internet Law Center in 2010. She combines in-house internet and technology experience with over twenty-five years of legal experience. Her experience includes trademark prosecution, trademark maintenance, and file management, copyrighting, and website IP protection.

Michele Ferri

Michele Ferri has spent years advising on everything from corporate formation to intellectual property licensing, employment law to hiring best practices, Fair Credit Reporting Act compliance, and more. From Dynamex independent contractor issues to California Consumer Privacy Act Policies, he has acted as outside inside counsel for successful startups and entrepreneurs.
Michele is on the Executive Committee of the California Lawyers Association Intellectual Property Section and Chair of the Technology, Internet and Privacy Interest Group of the CLA, which leads to constant exposure to the cutting edge of tech law. Michele graduated from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2015 with the school's intellectual property-focused High Tech Law Certificate and received the CALI Excellence For The Future Award for Appellate Advocacy.

Jonathan Lurie

Jonathan Lurie’s career has seen him assist business and individual clients with issues ranging from intellectual property litigation and transactions to business organization to privacy compliance to employment law and more. He has a passion for helping entrepreneurs, as well as tech and entertainment-focused startups, with the many legal issues a growing business will face on the way to achieving the dreams of their founders. He is an Executive Committee Member for the California Lawyers Association Intellectual Property Section and Vice-Chair of the Entertainment and Sports Interest Group.
Jonathan has written dozens of published articles dealing primarily with business, intellectual property, and employment law; but range from tort to constitutional law to criminal law.

Don R. Dennis Jr.
Don Dennis Law
Don Dennis has spent nearly a decade working with companies and creative individuals on intellectual property and trade secrets, internet, defamation, data security, and privacy matters. He is a lecturer in Business Law and has made a number of presentations on internet legal issues including the California Consumer Privacy Act.
Don is a Certified Information Privacy Professional by the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
Prior to practicing law, Don worked as a civil engineer with the City of Los Angeles and LAX.

Tom Nora
The Scalable Startup
Tom is the founder of the Scalable Startup which was launched to help tech startups GROW - through Mentoring, Funding, Strategy Consulting, Teaching Entrepreneurship and building Digital Business Systems on the Web. Tom also publishes The Startup CEO.
Since 2013, Tom has teamed with the Internet Law Center to provide consulting services to its startup clients from assisting in fundraising to mentoring.
